INTRODUCTION TO FUNDRAISING, STRATEGY AND CASE FOR SUPPORT

This intensive one day course will be delivered in three parts:

Part 1: Introduction to Fundraising
Through this course you will gain increased confidence and improved knowledge and understanding of fundraising which will help you to develop your fundraising practice. You will also gain a better understanding of the fundamentals of why and how donors and supporters give as well as insight into how you can measure the success of your activities. Crucially you will also find out more about the legal requirements and standards which apply to fundraising and the role and importance of the independent Fundraising Regulator and Code of Practice.

Part 2: Fundraising Strategy
Having a clear fundraising strategy is also essential to keep your organisation or team on track with its fundraising goals and to get the best returns from your time, effort and budget. This course will thus equip you with the knowledge, skills and techniques to develop and successfully implement a great fundraising strategy, asking and then helping you to answer “Where are you now?” “Where do you want to be?” and “How are you going to get there?”

Part 3: Case for Support
To cap it off, this engaging course will help you to evaluate the key component parts of the case for support and assist you to develop this into a powerful fundraising message that inspires and enables donors to feel compelled to support your cause.
